Nupur Recyclers Limited, a leader in the trading and processing of non-ferrous metal scraps, has officially entered the aluminium extrusion manufacturing sector. This move is driven through its subsidiary, Nupur Extrusion, as part of the company’s strategic growth plan.
INR 180 Million Investment for New Facility in Haryana
The company has committed approximately INR 180 million to establish a state-of-the-art facility in Sampla, Bahadurgarh, Haryana. Nupur Extrusion, founded in May 2023 and 60% owned by NRL, will focus on producing aluminium extrusions using recycled aluminium scrap, catering to the growing demand in the solar energy and construction sectors. The facility, which spans two acres of land, is expected to achieve a production capacity of 5,000-6,000 tons by the fiscal year 2025-26, with two extrusion press machines already ordered from global suppliers.
Strategic Move to Meet Growing Demand for Sustainable Materials
This venture positions NRL to tap into the rapidly expanding aluminium extrusion market, essential for solar panel components and construction applications like scaffolding and shuttering. Rajesh Gupta, Managing Director of Nupur Recyclers Limited, commented, “Diversifying into aluminium extrusion allows us to meet the rising demand for recycled materials in key industries, while also staying committed to sustainability.”
Nupur Recyclers Limited, known for its innovative role in metal recycling, continues to lead the way in sourcing and processing non-ferrous metal scraps from regions including the Middle East, Central Europe, and the USA. The company’s latest expansion further cements its position as a key player in promoting sustainability within the metal recycling industry.
