Michelin India has initiated the expansion of its tyre manufacturing operations with the laying of the foundation stone for a new facility in Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu. The investment, amounting to ₹563.67 crore, aims to augment production capabilities specifically for passenger car tyres. During the foundation stone-laying ceremony, Tamil Nadu’s Minister for Industries, TRB Rajaa, emphasized Michelin’s renewed investment as a significant endorsement of Tamil Nadu’s conducive business environment and its dynamic leadership under Chief Minister M K Stalin.
