EVR Motors Plant Set Up to Meet the Increasing Global Demand for Electric Vehicles (EVs)

EVR Motors, a pioneering Israel-headquartered manufacturer of high power-density electric motors, aiming to cater to the burgeoning global demand for electric vehicles (EVs), achieved a significant milestone by announcing the opening of its new greenfield plant in Manesar, Haryana. The facility set up under its subsidiary I.EVR Motors is a key milestone as it becomes Israel’s largest automotive manufacturing operation in India and is central to EVR’s global production strategy.

EVR Motor’s Manufacturing Facility in Manesar, Haryana

Based in Haryana, the Manesar plant is equipped to manufacture trapezoidal geometry coils, a patented component of EVR’s Trapezoidal Stator Radial Flux Permanent Magnet (RFPM) motor technology. Designed and manufactured to meet varying customer needs, these coils hold high importance for EVR electric motors, which feature a compact size, lightweight, and cost efficiency. The highly-computerized plant will have the capacity to provide coils for almost 20,000 motors monthly, but that will not be enough with the ever-increasing global trend for electric vehicles (EVs) offering, targeting the production of up to 100,000 motors.

EVR Motors has entered into commercial agreements with top homegrown Indian automotive stakeholders like Napino, Belrise Group, EKA Mobility, and RSB Transmissions. The company expects these strategic partnerships to improve the supply chain and help EVR better serve both the Indian and global markets.

Leadership’s Vision

Sajal Kishore, Managing Director of I.EVR Motors, added, “The opening of our new manufacturing facility in India marks a major milestone in our quest to bring revolutionary motor technology to electric mobility. This facility is focused on providing advanced solutions; it not only strengthens our supply chain but also plays an integral part in supporting our expansion plans in India and around the world. This is an epitome of business cooperation between India & Israel and shows that our dreams of ‘Make in India for the world’ are being realized. The strategic greenfield investment reiterates our faith in the long-term prospects of the Indian market and local talent with regard to the new-age mobility sector.”

The inauguration of the Manesar plant stands as a testimony to the innovation and excellence of EVR, further strengthening the partnership between India and Israel in the automotive industry. The plant is essential in helping meet the growing global preferences toward electric vehicles and the plant’s role in creating a more sustainable future.
