ECKART, a Germany-based global leader in metallic and effect pigments, has partnered with India’s Runaya, an innovator in sustainable manufacturing, to establish an advanced aluminium powder production facility in Orissa. This joint venture will focus on producing some of the most sustainable spherical atomized aluminium granules, addressing rising demand across sectors like aerospace, solar panels, and high-value effect pigments in both Indian and global markets.
The facility’s operations are underpinned by a strong commitment to sustainability. It will utilize recycled aluminium and renewable energy sources, emphasizing eco-friendly practices. The collaboration is poised to strengthen India’s position as a global hub for cost-efficient, high-tech manufacturing.
Expanding Horizons with Aluminium Pigments
In addition to aluminium granules, the partnership has formalized plans through a Memorandum of Understanding to manufacture high-quality aluminium pigments. This expansion highlights the duo’s commitment to innovation and sustainable manufacturing practices, setting new industry benchmarks.
